Our Mission
bitcoin.rocks was founded in 2022 with a simple mission: accelerate Bitcoin adoption through education.
We exist to be the first link you share with someone who is curious about Bitcoin. A friendly, accessible starting point that explains how Bitcoin is building a better world.
Too many people misunderstand Bitcoin or have never been properly introduced to it. We want to change that by providing free, high-quality educational content that anyone can understand.
What We Do
We create free educational content for Bitcoin newcomers. Our website covers topics like inflation, self-custody, wallets, the Lightning Network, and how Bitcoin compares to other assets and payment systems.
We mail free Bitcoin stickers to your door so you can help spread Bitcoin awareness in your community. Hundreds of people scan the QR codes on these stickers each month to learn about Bitcoin.
We also provide printable flyers and business kits for anyone who wants to help onboard local businesses to accept Bitcoin payments.
All of our content assumes zero prior Bitcoin knowledge. Whether you are brand new to Bitcoin or a seasoned Bitcoiner looking for resources to share, bitcoin.rocks is for you.
Our Editorial Approach
Every piece of content on bitcoin.rocks is curated and fact-checked. When we reference data or statistics, we cite our sources so you can verify the information yourself.
We link to trusted sources like TIME Magazine, Forbes, MIT Technology Review, Lyn Alden, and many others. We believe that Bitcoin speaks for itself when the facts are presented clearly.
Our content is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure accuracy and freshness. All content is focused exclusively on Bitcoin education.

bitcoin.rocks is a free, open-source project licensed under the MIT License. Our entire codebase is publicly available on GitHub.
Anyone can contribute to bitcoin.rocks. We especially welcome translators who help make our content accessible to people around the world.
Thanks to our community of volunteer translators, bitcoin.rocks is currently available in 9 languages and growing.
